The Block Printing & Clay Connection
Printmaker/Ceramic Artist Kim Cunningham will lead a workshop in carving one-of-a-kind block print stamps which will be used to texture clay slabs for creative clay constructions. Participants will design and carve at least two small rubber stamps, which they will then stamp on paper before moving on to clay slabs. The slabs will be used to make coasters and tiles, and can be re-used in future independent projects. Each participant should come away with several unique pieces.
