Come play with watercolors and enjoy watching your colors flow and merge. In this workshop we will learn the basics of how to work with watercolors by mixing colors, exploring the amount of water to use and how these elements respond on different papers. We will learn different techniques, from wet on wet to wet on dry and more. We will begin the class with experimentation and loose play, getting you comfortable with the magic that can happen with watercolor. From your playful explorations, you will create several handmade cards to take home, inspired by the fall foliage or from your own imagination. Basic materials and card sets will be supplied but if you have your own watercolor and paper, please bring them to the class.
