Drawing Basics: Still Life Studies

If you’ve had that little itch to pick up a pencil and learn to draw, this might be the class for you. Learning to draw is about taking the time to see and observe the world around you more closely. We will practice drawing with a variety of simple objects, both natural and man-made. We will learn how to make observations and transfer what we see onto paper. There will be playful exercises to help get us started and a range of materials to use during the two day sessions. Materials are provided, students are also encouraged to bring their own media to work in.
