Pysanky: Traditional Wax Resist Egg Dyeing

Get eggcited for this cracking class! Learn the satisfying art of Pysanky, the traditional Ukrainian art of wax resist egg dyeing. Students will learn how to use the kitska tool to apply layers of wax, dye their creations in successive colors and how to finish their piece by blowing the egg for preservation. Students will end the class with at least one intricate egg, depending on their pace most students will create multiple pieces.
