Water-Etching on Porcelain with Forrest Bencivenga

Join us for another exciting surface design workshop! Forrest will first teach students to press-mold plates and platters (an all-levels handbuilding technique), then demonstrate how to create a raised pattern or image on our pots by washing away the area around it. Water-etching, combined with colorful slips and underglazes, is a fun way to add both visual and tactile interest to our pieces.
