10 weeks, 30 hours / $242 Members, $360 Non-Members

This ten-week all-levels class will revisit and build on the techniques covered in Mary’s earlier hand-building classes. Students will explore soft slab “collages,” coil/pinch and slab constructions, and solid sculptures, combining methods with the possibility for collaborative and experimental works. Class time will balance lecture, demo, and time for hands-on making. Thoughtful group discussions will center on contemporary ceramics and developing your creative practice. Pre-requisites: this class is suitable for students from beginner to intermediate; ages 18+ unless pre-arranged with studio staff.
