Are you ready to make the leap from cups to mugs? Do you want to improve the look, feel, or function of the handles you’re currently making? Join Mary for a five-week class in which she will teach you how to design, create, and attach your best handles yet! You will learn multiple ways to make a handle, from traditional pulled handles to contemporary coiled and slab-built variations. Students should bring basic throwing and/or handbuilding skills, a sketchbook, and readiness to explore thoughtful design for attractive, ergonomic handles.
