Beginning Clay See All Times

If you are brand new to clay, or you are looking to build upon your basic pottery skills, this is the class for you! We will teach you the basic steps and processes to make functional pottery forms. We provide the tools, materials, and instruction for you to learn new methods in both handbuilding and throwing on the wheel. Special attention is paid to thoughtful design, solid construction, and successful finishing techniques from trimming and texturing to glazing. This is a time for creative exploration and a stepping stone to our intermediate and advanced classes.
Prerequisites: no experience needed. Ages 18+ unless pre-arranged with studio staff.
Entry - the Ceramics Studio main entrance is located from the front parking lot on the right side of 1283 Main Street, Dublin. Additional parking is located around the side of the building. An accessible entrance is available next to the handicapped parking spot on the left side of the building, please let us know if you will need it as it gets locked at night.| Wed, Apr 10 | ||
