Have you ever wanted to paint a mural but weren’t sure where to start? Let an experienced muralist lead you through the process of designing, transferring and painting your art on a wall, all while beautifying MAXT’s new home at Noone Falls! In Muraling 101 you’ll receive design pointers, review the many techniques for transferring your design, and play with industry-favorite tools and materials for installing your mural right on the walls of MAXT Makerspace. This course meets to learn and practice once a week for four weeks, then you’ll have four more weeks to complete your work at your own pace before we reveal it to the public in an artists’ opening evening. Instructor Lorin Baeta is a local artist with public murals and signage you may have spotted at small businesses, farms or schools in and around Peterborough.
