Join us for a unique fiber arts class where you’ll learn the art of hand embroidery, while transforming a plain pillowcase into your own work of art! Learn the fundamentals of hand embroidery under the guidance of embroidery artist, Erin Boyle. Incorporate mixed media techniques, like needle felting and beading, to add additional textures and visual interest to your designs. This class will include a component on hand dyeing threads with instructor, Dave Broughton, so you can learn to create your own unique hues. By the end of this course, you’ll have all the necessary skills and inspiration to continue your fiber arts crafting at home! No prior experience necessary.
